Adidas launches biggest store to date in Bangalore

Sportswear brand Adidas has opened its biggest Bangalore store to date on the metro’s Brigade Road. The 6,500 square foot store was opened by Adidas boxer and athlete Nikhat Zareen.

The retail space blends offline and online shopping with its digital touchpoints throughout the store and features Adidas’ full range of apparel and accessories for running, training, sports, football, basketball, golf, tennis and outdoor activities for men, women and children.

“We are absolutely thrilled to open another phenomenal store in the heart of Bengaluru,” Sunil Gupta, Adidas Senior Brand Manager, said in a press release. “The store not only offers our consumers a global shopping experience, but also gives them a glimpse into the world of possibilities with Adidas, whether through our Experience Zones, our digital touchpoints or our commitment to sustainability that comes to life with wall sustainability and installation made from plastic waste.We constantly want to improve our consumers’ in-store experience through innovation, creativity and design.

The store also has a “Sustainability Wall” made from e-waste that displays the brand’s End Plastic Waste logo. The aim of the exhibition is to show Adidas’ commitment to sustainability and to inspire others to work towards the same goal. Other features include a children’s activity area, an exclusive soccer field, and a games-inspired lounge, among others.

“I’m super excited to open this beautiful Adidas store today,” said Zareen. “It reminds me of my first visit to the store, when I bought my first pair of Adidas shoes. It was a monumental moment for me because it was a pair that empowered me and to this day I cherish it.
