If you are looking for a way to test the latest Adidas items, look no further than the Adidas product testing program.

Through the program, the Three Stripes send shoes and other equipment to selected people to test for a period of time. After trying the products for a few weeks, the product testers will mail them to the company and let Adidas know what they think. Currently, the program is on hiatus, according to the site, but recruiting will reopen “in the near future.”

If this may interest you, read on for more information on the Adidas Product Testing Program.

How to Apply for the Adidas Product Testing Program

Product testers must meet a minimum set of requirements, including:

  • Living in the United States
  • Internet access and a valid e-mail address
  • Read and write in English
  • 18 years or older
  • Provide body measurements
  • Do not test any competing product
  • Do not share information relating to the products tested via social networks, personal messaging or other forms of communication

If you meet these conditions, apply online now at Producttesting.adidas.com. Applicants are required to complete a short survey with information including preferred height, sports they participate in, and demographics.

How the Adidas Product Testing Program Works

If you are selected for the Adidas Product Testing Program, you will receive an email inviting you to participate. Those who choose to participate will receive free test equipment with instructions on how long the product has been worn or mileage driven. After wearing the equipment for the required period of time, the testers will return the product (Adidas will pay shipping costs) for evaluation by the company. During the testing period, participants are encouraged to keep detailed logs of their activity, as they will be asked to complete a short survey upon completion.

How the Reebok Product Testing Program Works

Reebok, which is owned by Adidas, offers its own product testing program, which works much the same as its parent company. To register as a Reebok Product Tester, visit Producttesting.Reebok.com. The set of requirements for candidates corresponds to that of Adidas:

  • Living in the United States
  • Internet access and a valid e-mail address
  • Read and write in English
  • 18 years or older
  • Provide body measurements
  • Do not test any competing product
  • Do not share information relating to the products tested via social networks, personal messaging or other forms of communication

As with Adidas, those selected for the Reebok Product Testing Program will receive an email inviting them to participate. Those who agree will be given the equipment to be tested for a period of time (probably two to four weeks) with additional instructions. Once the testing period is over, participants will return the product by courier for inspection by Reebok, and will be asked to complete an online questionnaire.
