CCTV released men wanted for serious assault outside the Co-op store on Great Western Road in Glasgow

A CCTV image of two men wanted in connection with a serious assault has been released by police.

Officers are looking to trace the pair to an incident outside a Co-op store on Glasgow’s Great Western Road earlier this year.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 4pm on Wednesday February 2 after the assault was reported.

Four months later, police released the image in the hope that someone will recognize the men they believe can help them with their investigations.

The first man, who was riding a silver bicycle, is described as being between 35 and 50 years old with a slim build.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a green and white striped beanie, beige snood, navy jacket, black jeans and gray sneakers.

He was also carrying a black backpack.

The second, who was riding a green bike, is described as being between 35 and 50 years old with a strong build.

He wore a black Adidas baseball cap, a black jacket with white zippers, black jogging bottoms and gray sneakers.

Drumchapel Police Office Detective Constable Sean Kennedy said: “I urge the men, or anyone with information relating to the men, depicted in this image, to contact the police.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Drumchapel Police Station, Glasgow via 101.”
