JD Sports is set to double its presence in Bullring & Grand Central as it seeks to drive customer engagement through events, pop-ups and collaborations.

Hammerson said the expansion is a clear signal of the strength of the destination as well as a firm commitment to Birmingham as a thriving city.

JD Sports, which has been in Bullring since 2003, will open a new 27,500 square foot store on the lower level. The new store will feature even more ranges from brands such as Nike, Adidas, Under Armor and Converse, spanning footwear, fashion and accessories.

It is expected to open in the summer of 2023, creating over 40 new jobs at Bullring & Grand Central.
