Nikhat Zareen opens new Adidas store in Bangalore
BENGALERU: World boxing champion Nikhat Zareen remembered her first pair of Adidas shoes and how it propelled her to fame in the boxing ring when she recently opened the giant’s biggest store sportswear world in Bengaluru.
Located in the heart of Brigade Road IT City, the store, spread over 6,500 square feet of retail space over four floors, emphasizes “experience, durability and credibility”.
Speaking on the occasion, Nikhat hoped the store “will be the first step towards many more such monumental journeys for young athletes in the years to come”.
The upscale destination for sportswear enthusiasts offers a wide variety of products for men, women and children in categories such as running, training, activewear, football, basketball, golf, tennis and the outdoors. To make the space more attractive, the store also has several sports and experience areas like an exclusive soccer field with an extended terrace playground and a game-inspired lounge with an activity zone for children, informed the company in a press release.
Highlighting the brand’s vision and commitment to sustainability, the space features a dedicated ‘Sustainability Wall’. It was made from e-waste and features the End Plastic Waste logo. Additionally, the store’s central Atrium installation was created in collaboration with local artists using only recycled plastic bottles and containers, the company said in a statement.

Speaking at the grand opening of the new store, Nikhat said: “I am very happy to open this wonderful Adidas store today. It reminds me of my first visit to the store, when I received my first pair. of Adidas shoes. A monumental moment for me as it was a pair that empowered me and to this day I treasure it. It was my entry into the world of Adidas, and from there , the possibilities for me have been endless. I wear my three stripes with so much pride.
