QDF named Official Store of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Qatar Duty Free (QDF), a wholly owned subsidiary of FIFA partner Qatar Airways, announced yesterday that it has been named the Official Retail Store of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This includes a license for exclusively selling all FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 merchandise. fan zones and at the eight spectacular stadiums hosting matches in Qatar.
The award-winning retailer has already worked closely with FIFA at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center on April 1, where VIP attendees and distinguished guests were able to purchase the official Adidas match ball for the very first time after its revelation in the final draw. QDF Vice President Thabet Musleh said: “Excitement is growing day by day and Qatar Duty Free is delighted to have been selected as the Official Retail Store for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This allows international fans to collect their memories of the tournament. once arrived in the country, allowing fans to fully enjoy the World Cup.
Travelers leaving Qatar will still have the opportunity to visit our stores at the airport and take home a piece of the World Cup to relive their memories after the tournament is over. Fans will also be able to pick up tournament memorabilia when they land at Hamad International Airport (HIA) – the official airport of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and a subsidiary of FIFA partner Qatar Airways – and in many outlets in malls across the country.
A wide range of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 collectibles, including the official Adidas match ball, will also be available at airport departure stores for spectators leaving Qatar after the matches as well as for passengers in transit.
QDF has over 40,000m² of duty-free and concession space and has over 90 luxury and affordable outlets, restaurants and cafes.
